Taking a holistic approach to wellness considers the whole person and how they interact with their environment. Rather than focusing on illness or specific parts of the body, it emphasizes the connection of mind, body and spirit.
This approach to wellness is rooted in the understanding that each of these aspects affect overall health, and that being unwell in one area affects other areas of well-being.
